The market is flooded with vacuum cleaners of different models and designs. These are task specific models that are designed to accomplish a particular type of task. Some of the basic models are:
Upright vacuum cleaners come with a cleaning head attached to a handle and a bag. Brush roll or beater bar technique is employed by them. They have two categories under them. They are direct air and fan-bypass vacuum cleaners. The direct air is used in commercial areas and is older of the two models. It is more efficient when compared to the latter and cleans carpets very well but its performance on the floor is very poor. Hand-held vacuum cleaner are small sized cleaners that can be operated by holding in hand. They are used for small spoilage.
